inDrive Top-Ranked App on Google Play Store in Pakistan

According to the most recent rankings of Google Play Store, inDrive, which is a worldwide mobility and urban services platform, is now the top-ranked app in Pakistan’s Maps & Navigation category.

Additionally, the app is ranked #1 in the Apple App Store’s Travel category. Particularly in accordance with increasing demands of users, this initiative symbolizes an important milestone in the emerging mobility scene of Pakistan.

In Pakistan, InDrive was established in 2021 and is already a top-ranked app in Pakistan and currently it provides services in more than 20 cities. Its peer-to-peer pricing approach enables direct fare negotiations between drivers and passengers, which sets it apart from more established platforms that rely on surge-based algorithms.

The platform’s rapid ascent in the app store rankings coincides with urban commuters’ increasing focus on control and affordability.

Awais Saeed, Country Manager for inDrive Pakistan said:

“Our model resonates because it puts people first – they decide the price, not an algorithm,”

He added:

“inDrive’s growth has been largely organic, driven by local adoption and a focus on expanding into underserved areas. We are also investing in social impact programs, including support for drivers’ families, upcoming training initiatives, and the planned onboarding of women drivers.”

The increasing desire for rider autonomy, safety, and transparency—especially in Pakistan’s cost-conscious metropolitan areas—is what is driving inDrive’s growth.

Utilizing the revolutionary approach to business, inDrive encourages the drivers to suggest fares based on factors like time, distance, or what they believe is reasonable, and drivers have the option to accept, reject, or haggle.

InDrive links individuals through a variety of services, including as courier, freight delivery, city-to-city transport, and business-to-business (B2B) solutions, in addition to ride-hailing.

The platform is still expanding globally, ranking fifth in the global travel app category and second in the world’s ride-hailing app downloads for the third year in a row.
