Binance’s Global University Outreach Program (GUOP), which is the largest blockchain education initiative in the world, is the umbrella organization for the partnership, with the goal to develop a new generation of Web3 experts.

The project is in accordance with the goals of nation for digital transformation and the project presents Pakistan as a developing center of blockchain expertise.

The instructors of universities will be given detailed training in the basics of blockchain, along with BNB Chain, Solidity programming, as well as the fundamental Web3 concepts, as part of the arrangement.

After receiving their certificate, they will be able to teach the newly developed curriculum on their own. Additionally, students who successfully finish the courses will be officially accredited.

Bader Al Kalooti, Head of Growth and Operations for the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia at Binance said in a statement:

“As blockchain reshapes the global financial landscape, empowering people with the right skills is essential.
This partnership marks a significant step toward building a knowledgeable workforce ready to drive digital innovation.”

Welcoming the initiative, Minister of IT and Telecom, Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, noted its potential impact on Pakistan’s long-term economic trajectory.

Shaza Fatima added:

By collaborating with Binance and the Blockchain & AI Technology Center, we are equipping our students to lead in the digital economy.”

Ever since its launch in 2022, Binance Academy has trained more than 3,000 students at 13 universities spread across three regions in Pakistan.
By building on previous achievements, the new program broadens that endeavor nationally and provides extensive access to state-of-the-art technological education.

Since the launch of GUOP, in Kazakhstan in 2023, the GUOP has spread to more than 20 nations worldwide. Its more general goal is to reach one million students by 2026, affecting more than 200 universities in 50 countries.
