WhatsApp has started to roll out a new feature that lets its users create AI-generated profile and group photographs through a new AI tool as part of the most recent iOS upgrade through its TestFlight beta program.
Version 25.16.10.70 of WhatsApp makes this AI tool only available to a moderate number of testers. Shortly, an extensive range of users will have access to this feature. The only thing users will have to do is enter a text that narrates the image they wish to create.
This application offers a unique method to communicate personality or mood because it makes images from scratch, unlike typical solutions that use pre-existing photos. Without submitting their own photos, users can create themed group icons, artistic artwork, or avatars.
Users can use the functionality by going to settings and choosing the profile photo option. An AI image generation prompt will then appear. Editing group icons through the group details menu follows a similar procedure.
