Pakistan Govt is considering to block Viber, Whatsapp, Tango and Other Instant Messaging and VoIP Apps in order to maintain law and order situation in Sindh.

This decision was presented yesterday in meeting between Govt Officials and Prime Minister Pakistan. PM also ordered to block all unregistered sims. This decision is given so that terrorist are able to not use them. It was reported that terrorists have switched to these apps from regular sims.
This blockage is not first time in sindh, last year in october sindh govt also have same proposals of blocking Viber and Whatsapp. Concerned authorities have reported that they have not yet received any such notification from Govt.
Experts told that IP addresses in Pakistan are not linked with GEO-LOCATION system so it is highly likely that these services will be blocked over all in sindh not in specific city.
