Rs4.8 billion Spent by Govt. for science and technology promotion

For 31 projects is Pakistan, which are intended for the promotion of science and technology, the present government has put away Rs4.8 billion.

For the construction of Daanish schools, it was expected of the government to reserve the amount of Rs 9.8 billion, and Rs4.8 billion for science promotion, according to information that came on Tuesday from the government.

According to Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb’s budget address:

“We will change the economic DNA by bringing the basic changes.”


In the meantime, since it has been decided to tax people who do business online, goods and services bought online will also be subject to taxes.

The details that came out on Tuesday indicated that using e-commerce platforms for business purposes will result in taxes. A 5% rise in the income tax rate on interest income is proposed. The budget draft suggests increasing the tax rate from 15% to 20%.
