Pakistan provides 70% less expensive IT services than the US.

Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Pakistan’s ambassador, pointed out that Pakistan is a win-win sector for bilateral collaboration because it provides IT services that are 70% less expensive than those in the US while keeping excellent quality.

According to Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, the most enduring connection between Pakistan and the US is the one million-person Pakistani-American community.

In an address to American policymakers, diplomats, and businesspeople, Ambassador Sheikh encouraged American investors to learn more about Pakistan’s economic prospects, particularly in the quickly expanding IT industry as Pakistan provide IT services less expensive than US.

Ambassador Sheikh said:

“It can be very beneficial for both countries to strengthen cooperation in the technology sector”.

The Ambassador further emphasized how manageable and relatively small the trade gap between the United States and Pakistan is. He noted that Pakistan imports soybeans from the United States and is the biggest importer of American cotton. Pakistan’s advantageous position allows it to function as a hub for regional trade.

Sheikh also added:

“Over 80 American companies are operating successfully in Pakistan, which is a strong testament to the country’s profitable and growing market.”

He added that the Pakistani government continues to place a high premium on creating an environment that is conducive to business.

Regarding regional tensions, Ambassador Sheikh stated that India used provocations while Pakistan was experiencing substantial economic growth.

Rizwan Sheikh emphasized:

“As a nation, we take pride in our effective response to Indian aggression, but peace remains our top priority as it paves the way for economic development”

He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional security and praised the crucial role that U.S. leadership played in enabling the ceasefire between India and Pakistan.
