Apple to cease the sale of 2015 MacBook Pro

Apple has recently announced to cease the sale of 2015 MacBook Pro laptops because today the Company released new 13-inch and a 15-inch touch bar laptop models. The last prosumer laptop includes HDMI, USB-A port, and a full-size SD card slot which was liked by many customers, Apple’s 2015 MacBook was also the last one to feature a traditional keyboard.

After some time they had switched to a newer butterfly version of the keyboard which was not up to the mark, tend to have some reliability issues. Just after the month, Apple admits that some issues start arising in its new butterfly keys and many people complained that the keys were prone to sticking, become unresponsive while typing, repeating characters so that’s why the company launched an extended four-year repairment program.

For those people whose had a bad experience with butterfly keys or grieves for not having legacy ports in 2016 and later MacBook Pro. Apple store stocked the 2015 model to provide as an alternative, particularly it’s for those people who had been dissatisfied by these new models. They were selling it in their clearance section for as long as the supplies last.

According to 9to5mac, the 8th-gen Intel CPU upgrades offers some high-performance enhancements while most of the complaints were against this new generation laptops. Apple also said that new keyboards are soft and makes no sound on pressing.

This closure of 2015 laptops supply leaves the users with only limited options, but none of them are good enough to use. Whereas the company would prefer that customers upgrade the latest MacBook Pro with Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C dongles if they are willing to use 2015 MacBook ports. If you still want to pick legacy MacBook Pro then your pick should be eBay or Craigslist.
