To Better Cybersecurity in Pak, NCERT Partners With Tech20four

As part of the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) strategy, Tech20four (Pvt Ltd) is formally partners with the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (NCERT) as its Technology Innovation Partner. At a ceremony at the National CERT offices in Islamabad, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, solidifying this partnership.

The primary objective of this collaboration is to better the national cybersecurity capabilities by utilizing human capital development, collective research, as well as innovation. Tech20Four will work together as partners with NCERT as a part of the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE)in order to create state of art technology solutions, promote knowledge exchange, along with development of a strong digital security infrastructure.

Dr. Mehreen Afzal, Director of GRC, highlighted the value of these relationships, saying that they are the essential component of a solid and secure national cyber framework and must be implemented to ensure the adaptability of Pakistan for rising cyberthreats.

A groundbreaking initiative called the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) collect educational institutions, privately held businesses that are licensed under SECP, government organizations, as well as online businesses to put forward a united front against cyberattacks. Sharing of knowledge, development of skills, along with the production of locally developed technology for cybersecurity are all welcomed.

Key National CERT leadership, including Mr. Sadiq Khan, Deputy Director of Labs, Mr. Khurram Javed, Director of Capacity Building, and several other distinguished officials, attended the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding. The CEO, Mr. Aamir Nawaz Tanoli, was speaking on behalf of Tech20Four. There were also representatives from Cywift in attendance.
