Starlink Launched 24 Satellites to Polar Orbit

Late Friday, 24 Starlink satellites were launched by SpaceX from California into low-Earth polar orbit.

At 8:52 p.m. PDT, the Falcon 9 rocket took off from Vandenberg Space Force Base’s Pad 4 East. The first-stage booster of rocket completed a secure landing on the droneship Of Course I Still Love You, around eight minutes after launch. The droneship is based in the Pacific Ocean.

It was the 14th flight of the booster, the 141st mission with this ship, and the 477th landing on a SpaceX droneship in total.

SpaceX has now launched 88 Falcon 9 rockets in 2025, bringing the total number of Falcon 9 launches from California and Florida to 516.

About sixty minutes after launch, the Starlink satellites were successfully positioned in polar orbit.

Since 2019, the details show that a total of 7,965 satellites have been launched into the Starlink constellation. Broadband internet and direct-to-cell connectivity services are offered by the network.

The next scheduled SpaceX launch from Florida is set for Monday at 5:12 p.m. EDT. The Luxembourg-based operator SES will launch a Falcon 9 from Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, delivering the sixth pair of 03b mPower satellites to medium-Earth orbit.
