Track My Train App Replaced Pakistan Railway Tracking System

The antiquated Pakistan Railway Tracking System has been replaced with the new smartphone app Track My Train, which was formally released by the Ministry of Railways. The new software, which was unveiled by Pakistan Railways, attempts to improve traveler convenience by providing real-time information.

Mango Tech Solutions created the app, which provides:

  • Tracking the location of trains in real time throughout the network.
  • Arrival and departure times by station, along with information on delays.
  • Details of the route, including all planned stops.

Comparisons of estimated and actual times are used to notify customers of delays. The app was launched on June 18, 2025. At the moment, Track My Train can be downloaded on iOS and Android through the Apple App Store and Google Play, with over 100,000 downloads on the former.

The platform only supports Urdu and English languages however no other regional Pakistani languages are supported by the platform.
The free edition of the app contains apps.

The software makes use of publicly accessible timetables and GPS data, while not having Pakistan Railways’ official endorsement. Users are reassured by Mango Tech that data is encrypted while in transit. It does, however, gather device identifiers, which it might then give to outside parties.
