The First Ever Hajj Hackathon Registration Opened for Organizers and Techies

The Saudi Federation of Cybersecurity, programming, and drones have opened the registrations for Hajj Hackathon. On the holy event that pledges to be a focus for top programmers all around the Globe to artistically control technology and machinery to improve and increase facilities during Hajj for pilgrims and to also identify the technological problems they face, the management is looking for extraordinary approaches.

Hajj Hackathon is inviting main programmers and consultants from the tech world to take challenges like comprising of meals and beverage, transportation, housing and communication solutions. The Hackathon is going to happen in August and it’s being expected that 3000 builders should be registering for this cause. It will also be giving prizes to the top three of them valued 2,000,000 SR to transform their ideas into businesses. They will also get free tickets to the Google IO Builders Convention taking place next year and RiseUp Summit taking place this year.

It is said to be a new step taken by the officials to follow the Saudi Vision 2030, its purpose is to motivate the youth and make them the top tech leaders of the world. The Hackathon will be held at Jeddah Worldwide Exhibition and Conference Centre and the webinar would occur on the 31st of July and Hackathon will begin on August 1st.

Winners will get Google Residence Mini with Google Assistant inbuilt and Google Cloud credit score. The highest ten groups will get Google Residence Mini with Google Assistant inbuilt and High 20 will get Google cloud credit score. The people that are going to be selected from the participants will be based on these things, Design, Simplicity, Affect and Creativity.

People who want to register themselves in the Hackathon can apply online on the website mentioned. The event planners will be arranging the flights, accommodation, and visas for the people whose ideas will be shortlisted for membership in the Hackathon.
