Android Police reports that it is safe to download this update as it is spreading across European markets though may not be available yet in United Kingdom and Ireland.
This update is about of 308 MB and in addition to have android 4.4.2 it contains update for security bluetooth and cloud printing and more. You can get this update from Setting > About > Check for Update.

HTC One X:
Confirmed from Twitter of Moversi AT&T approved Android 4.4.2 Kitkat Update for HTC One X users. This update came with Android 4.4.2 and HTC Sense 5. This update is currently for US customers and soon coming to other countries.
This update is confirmed by executive director of product management of HTC and was expected to come by 30 January 2014. This update is about 300 MB and can be download from Setting > About > Update Section.
